Waiting for a bus, then two come along at once ...

Actually, it's photoshoots. I haven't had a commission featuring a bus for a long time and then two arrive on consecutive days !

First up was, Yoko Ono launching a new John Lennon educational bus at the Museum of Liverpool before it embarks on a tour around schools, colleges and festivals across the UK and Europe, including a stint at London's Southbank centre as part of the her Meltdown Festival in June 2013. The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit state-of-the-art mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility. The bus is dedicated to giving young people the chance to get involved with music, video, photography, game and broadcast projects inside the bus's mobile recording studios. With the assistance of three on-board engineers, students learn how to write, perform, record, and produce original songs, produce and shoot music videos and documentaries and complete a broadcast quality music video. Its sister bus in the US was set up by Ono 16 years ago.

Next was a commission from Liverpool John Moores University. They have a full sided bus advert - called a 'special display' produced by CBS Outdoor - on a bus in the city and obviously needed some publicity and press shots ! Shame about the weather but we found some willing models to help us out.

Probably be another couple of years until the next bus shoot !

G7 Summit photography in Liverpool 2021 for the Australian Government

A very busy and interesting weekend working for Marise Payne Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs at various venues across the city. It was my first time working at a high profile diplomatic summit.

Presentation at Digifest 2021 Festival, Durban, South Africa

A couple of weeks ago I was honoured to be asked to present and exhibit some of my artworks at the “Unmasked” Digifest and annual research conference 2021, based in Durban, South Africa

"As a new business, it was very important to me to get the right publicity photographs for my marketing materials. When I met David, he listened carefully to what I was trying to achieve with my brand, and then produced fabulous photographs that were exactly what I needed. He was extremely professional throughout but also nice and friendly. Myself and my clients found it easy to relax with him, which was essential to create the right vibe for the shoot. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone."
